Independent lender workflow guide
Contract Processing for LoanStream Mortgage Brokers
My Loan Flow supports approved LoanStream Wholesale workflows inside The Lounge. The processor keeps registration, program selection, disclosures, appraisal activity, condition responses, and closing dependencies aligned to the current lender record and brokerage instructions.
Platform expertise
What does experienced processing look like in The Lounge?
LoanStream describes The Lounge as its TPO portal for pricing, registration, submission, disclosures, and pipeline control. A good file begins with the correct program lane and consistent data, followed by a document package that is indexed for the selected product rather than copied from a generic checklist.
Appraisal activity and condition clearing need their own audit trail. LoanStream directs approved brokers to order appraisals through The Lounge and identify the correct lender assignment. My Loan Flow tracks the order, portal status, supporting documents, underwriting requests, and any program-specific follow-up without treating a vendor update as a lender decision.
As the file advances, the processor monitors disclosure status, lock or extension questions, open conditions, title, insurance, settlement information, documents, and funding dependencies. Current LoanStream guidance and the loan-specific portal record take priority because programs, policies, and workflows can change.
File-level control points
How the workflow stays organized.
How is a LoanStream file submitted through The Lounge?
Reconcile the loan record, verify the selected program and current pricing or lock path, confirm disclosure readiness, organize the required package, and use the portal status—not an email assumption—to confirm submission.
How are LoanStream appraisals tracked?
Follow the current The Lounge ordering path and approved AMC instructions, record the order and due status, monitor lender assignment and transfer requirements, and escalate issues with the necessary file context.
How should Non-QM and agency checklists differ?
Start from the current LoanStream program guide and loan findings. Alternative-income, investor, agency, government, and jumbo files can require materially different evidence and review paths.
LoanStream Mortgage processing FAQ
Questions brokers ask before handing off a file.
Can My Loan Flow submit and disclose a loan in The Lounge?+
Only the tasks permitted by the lender, brokerage access role, applicable requirements, and signed processing scope. The portal’s capabilities do not by themselves authorize every user to perform every action.
Does My Loan Flow order LoanStream appraisals?+
The processor can coordinate the approved appraisal workflow when it is included in scope, following current LoanStream and AMC instructions and documenting status for the brokerage.
Can you process both LoanStream agency and NanQ files?+
Potentially, after confirming the program, state, access, scope, and current guidelines. Each file uses its own eligibility and documentation requirements.
Can My Loan Flow guarantee LoanStream turn times?+
No. Published estimates can change, and actual timing depends on file quality, lender capacity, underwriting, the borrower, third parties, and closing dependencies.
